(Added 11/3/14) Connecticut Down Syndrome Congress
The CDSC offers over night camp grants and scholarships to individuals with Down Syndrome as well as a mini grants for projects that support opportunity, equity and inclusion for individuals with Down Syndrome.
(Added 11/3/14) The Home and Community Based (HCBS)/ Autism Waiver
Connecticut Department of Developmental Services facilitates this waiver program through their Division of Autism Spectrum Services.
(Added 6/23/14) Joey's Fund Family Grant
Joey's Fund Family Grant Program accepts grant applications from families in New England (Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Vermont, New Hampshire & Maine) that are in need of financial assistance for their family member(s) with autism. Families can apply for up to $3,000 through the program.
Asperger's Association of New England
Grants up to $500 to families that live in New England and need assistance with therapies and equipment that will improve the life of a child with Aperger Syndrome.
Autism Services & Resources Connecticut
ASRC periodically provides a mini grant available to families or person with an autism diagnosis.
Cherish the Child Foundation
Serves children in need so they may achieve their greatest potential.
Friends of Karen
Provides emotional, financial and advocacy support to children with life-threatening illness and their family. Must live in Fairfield, Middlesex or New Haven counties in Connecticut.
Molly Ann Tango Memorial Foundation
Helps fund much needed medical equipment and services when insurance is exhausted and other social programs are not available.
The Obie Harrington-Howes Foundation
Is dedicated to maintaining and improving quality of life by providing financial aid to individuals with spinal cord injuries. An application can be obtained by calling 888-265-5859.
The Umbrella Club
Helps with the physical/mental/emtional concerns not being meet by other local orgnaizations and agencies in Fairfield County, CT.
