First In Families of North Carolina

The First In Families local Chapters offer support to families and individuals according to their self-defined needs. Examples of supports include computers, home furnishings or modifications, childcare or respite, or repairs to vehicles. Support can also be the connecting of an individual to vocational, social, and educational opportunities in the community; whatever it takes - for people to live and participate fully in their community.

Godstock

Godstock, Inc. was founded on Christian principles. "Our mission is to provide financial and spiritual support to chronically ill children and their families."

Parker Autism Foundation

  • Host an Annual Summer Camp for children with an autism spectrum disorder and grant scholarships when applicable

  • Grant scholarships to children with an autism spectrum disorder for therapy services

  • Grant scholarships for parent and therapist training

  • Offer support for parents and families of children with autism

  • Provide a lending library for families to share materials

State Education Assistance Authority

Provides both the Children with Disabilities Scholarship and the Opportunity Scholarship. Great PowerPoint explaining details and critiria HERE.

The Stogner Foundation

The Stogner Scholarship for Autism, Inc. is a 501c3 non-profit organization dedicated to raising money for local children in North Carolina affected by autism spectrum disorder and other related disabilities. Scholarships will help to pay for the much-needed and well-deserved therapies, doctor visits, medications and other early interventions.
