(Added 6/24/14) Asperger's Association of New England

* Family Grants- Families living in the New England area and need funds that directly improve the life of a child with Asperger Syndrome or related diagnosis. Income requirements.

*Rainy Day Fund for Adults- Help in a crisis situation for adult with asperger syndrome over the age of 18.

(Added 6/24/14) Joey's Fund Family Grant

Joey's Fund Family Grant Program accepts grant applications from families in New England (Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Vermont, New Hampshire & Maine) that are in need of financial assistance for their family member(s) with autism. Families can apply for up to $3,000 through the program.

Alpha One

The Home Retro Program is a grant provided through a collaborative agreement between Alpha One and the Maine State Housing Authority. It provides up to $10,000 to qualifying Maine homeowners to make modifications for a disabled resident.

Camp Sunshine

Nestled alongside the shores of beautiful Sebago Lake, Camp Sunshine provides respite, support, joy and hope to children with life-threatening illnesses and their immediate families through various stages of a child’s illness. The year-round program is free of charge to all families, and includes 24-hour onsite medical and psychosocial support.

Robbie Foundation

Robbie Foundation is bridging the gap for Maine children with developmental disabilities by funding adaptive equipment, assistive technology and therapy treatment not covered by insurances. Applications are reviewed quarterly the second weeks of January, April, July and October.
