(Added 6/23/14) Action for Autism

Action for Autism serves those individuals and families who reside within a 250 mile radius of St. Louis. Grants for therapies, assessments, special programs/camps, equipment/technology Needs, education/Schooling (for AFA Academy Schools).

Bear Necessities

Wish Granting organization for 0-19 year old cancer patients. A Bear Hug is a customized experience that brightens the life of a child going through cancer.

Central Illinois Special Needs Assistance Program

SNAP is interested in finding ways to assist 3-21 year olds with a diagnosed physical and cognitive disability. They help with financial assitance, grants and programs.

Computer Banc

Provide families, adults, special needs individuals, seniors, and veteranswho are At-Risk with computer access at home or school. As a secondary mission, they also provide computers for other not-for-profit agencies and schools.

Core Program

Helps children with a chronic health issue with such needs as therapy, specialized equipment, and transportation related to medical appintments and treatment.

Make-A-Wish Illinois

Granting wishes of any child 2 1/2 to 18 years old with a life threatening medical condition.

Midwest Council for Children with Disabilities

Provides financial assistance to children challenged physically, developmentally, or cognitively. Assistance available to families in Illinois, Ohio and Wisconsin.

One Wish Grant

Grants for children with apraxia and in need of therapy, therapuetic tools, certain iPad apps, and summer camp. Open to residents of Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin, and Michigan.

Silent Stars Foundation

Founded to raise awareness of Childhood Apraxia of Speechand raise funds for Apraxia research and help provide AAC devices for children who can not afford one.
