DayTrippers UK
Daytrippers UK is this week's nonprofit, and is for all of our UK friends! Daytrippers was founded in 2003 to help children with disabilities, life limiting or terminal illnesses. To date Daytrippers has helped over 20,000 children.
Some examples of Daytripper sponsored activities and grants include:Special bowling opportunities, Private World Cup Soccer Event, a private day at Colourscape and many many more events. Click here to see a full list of scheduled events and an archive of previous events!
Daytrippers will also help groups/classes fund private group Day Trips for groups of 8 children or more (all must have documented disability)...they typically help kiddos 5-18, but that is just a suggested age range. There is a very detailed application and process and follow up requirements (as their should be!!! They are providing a wonderful opportunity and want to share it with others!)
